Catherine Ann Mikucki, 80, of Toms River, NJ, passed away peacefully at Community Medical Center in Toms River on May 14, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Brooklyn, NY, to Andrew and Anna Newman. She grew up in Astoria, NY, and moved to Toms River in 1964. Catherine worked for Ciba Geigy in Toms River for several years as an executive secretary. She was a devoted parishioner and greeter at St. Joseph's Church in Toms River and was an active volunteer with several other organizations. Catherine was very loving and dedicated...

Catherine Ann Mikucki, 80, of Toms River, NJ, passed away peacefully at Community Medical Center in Toms River on May 14, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Brooklyn, NY, to Andrew and Anna Newman. She grew up in Astoria, NY, and moved to Toms River in 1964. Catherine worked for Ciba Geigy in Toms River for several years as an executive secretary. She was a devoted parishioner and greeter at St. Joseph's Church in Toms River and was an active volunteer with several other organizations. Catherine was very loving and dedicated to her family. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.

Catherine was predeceased by her brother Andrew Newman. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Eugene Mikucki; her son Paul Mikucki and his wife Treva of Hagerstown, MD; her two daughters: Linda Sabey of Toms River, and Diane Boufarah and her husband Brian of Westfield; her brother Edward Newman and his wife Margaret; her sister Dorothy Harper; her sister-in-law Dolores Newman; seven grandchildren, Caroline, Kate, Jaelyn, Alissa, Isabel, Jonathan and Justin; and two great-grandchildren, Ayva and Joseph..

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 17, from 6 to 9PM, at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ. A Mass will be held at 10AM on Thursday at St. Joseph's Church, 685 Hooper Avenue in Toms River. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Joan Dancy & PALS Foundation.
