David Mayer Pelcman, 50, of Bayville, NJ, passed away on September 14, 2016. He was born in Toms River, NJ, attended Bezalel Hebrew Day School in Lakewood and was a graduate of Toms River North H.S. David Mayer Pelcman, 50, of Bayville, NJ, passed away on September 14, 2016. He was born in Toms River, NJ, attended Bezalel Hebrew Day School in Lakewood and was a graduate of Toms River North H.S. David was employed by Lacey Amoco/Exxon as a mechanic where he worked with his brother Harry. He loved being with family and friends. He had a heart of gold and then some ...
David and his childhood sweetheart Jan Moskowitz Pelcman were married on December 9, 1990. They were together for 34 joyous years and together raised their two sons Matthew and Randy, who were his pride and joy. Although David has left this earth, he will always be with his family and friends in spirit.
David was the youngest of six children. He is survived by his siblings and their spouses: Harry and Margaret, Charlotte and David, Haskel and Carol, Simon, Howard and Cindy, Alex and Lisa. David also is survived by his nephews and nieces: Jacqueline, Joshua, Aaron, Michael, Jason, Jessica, Mike, Jodie, John, Ian, Michele, Arian, Courtney, Jarod and Justin; and his great nephews and nieces: Max, Sam, Caleb, Brielle, Preston, Addison, Sawyer, Wyatt, and Jaycee. David was a beacon of hope, laughter, and love. Family and friends were his life and he will be dearly missed. His family and friends are broken hearted and drowning in a sea of tears.
David's family has been members of Congregation B'nai Israel since 1961. The family is observing Shiva at his home until Tuesday, September 20th. The family would appreciate donations in David's memory be made to Congregation B'nai Israel towards the Rabbi's Discretionary Fund.
